Radiohead's follow up - I want all of it!

All you Radiohead-heads out there can start to rejoice: Guitarist Jonny Greenwood wrote a message on the band's website telling fans that Radiohead are back in the studio, recording the follow up to 2003's Hail to the Thief.

Enigmatic as always, Greenwood only makes a quick nod to Radiohead's recording duties with the opening line, "We're back in the studio and all is well." He then proceeds to write several paragraphs about blue rat shit and dub reggae. He continued: "Stanley (Donwood)'s here too, or at least in the shed out back, painting again. The rats have got in and eaten all his blue paint, and there's blue rat shit everywhere: but at least he's got a good dub cd to listen to while he's working." Greenwood said he's spent the last six months listening to "just dub reggae". He wrote: "Six solid months of nothing but Lee 'Scratch' Perry, Ken Boothe, Junior Byles, Marcia Aitkin and hundreds of others. It's to make a compilation which may or may not ever be completed - I hope I'm not just proving a point to myself - but either way, there's been nothing else on my iPod since April."
The preceding post by Thom Yorke is even more baffling, "I could write about watching V festival," York writes, "or how amazing the sky is outside with the moon hiding behind fast moving clouds and the bats swooping close to your head." Thom then closes his post saying, "I have no idea what I'm talking about." Neither do we.

Radiohead has recently released a new track for the War Child compilation, the proceeds of which go to aid children in war torn countries. The song is called "I Want None of It" .
The new album is set for release next year.
